Ask here if you are looking for a boat heading North (e.g. to Trinidad). It is relatively easy to find a passanger boat, but when it comes to cars it ia another story. We were told that between January and March 2016 not even one ship arrived, which could take them, so one would need luck to get anywhere.
Next to the capitania there is the port, where for 150bs they will load a 4x4 on a ship, once you have the documents from the capitania.
