Description

We were in El Centro, CA running errands and were in need of a dump site, took a chance and gave Desert Trails RV Park a call and asked if they had a dump site available to the public, and they did! The cost is $3 to dump and if you wanted potable water it’s another $3. Potable water is right next to dump and no one checks if you use it, sooo....

.We parked at the entrance where the office was and paid there but the kind lady at the desk told me over the phone that when the office is closed you can use the night drop envelopes - put your money in, and slide the envelope under the office door. The dump/water area is the prettiest ones we’ve encountered yet as it overlooks the golf course within the RV park and everything was clean and well taken care of. There was supposed to be a hose attached to the water spigot used to wash down the dump area but the only hose that was there did not have either end that could have connected to the spigot so we just used a collapsible bucket and filled it up a bunch to wash down the area (we have a small Camco toilet in our van). We paid the $3 to fill our water also and it tastes great! Would definitely come here again if we need to make another trip to town.

We stop here every year on our way to Baja. Always great. Home Depot across the street, with plenty of restaurants. Everything you need last minute.
They have an amazing hot tub and pool. Showers- not the cleanest, but hey, you’re on your way to the Baja, right?
We stay in the dry lot for about $25/ night. They have pull through and back in spite with full hook ups. Don’t know those prices.

Stayed the night; in our area they had electrical and water hookups but no dumping. There's a dumping station next to the dry camping area that you can use.
Friendly personnel and good looking RV park, although the bathrooms leave a little to be desired.
There are also laundry facilities and lots of shopping in the vicinity.
