90% finished construction, no maintenance (stay clear from the toilets). Popular with anglers in the afternoon (has artificial water reservior). Otherwise quiet and peaceful. Roofed places where one can pitch a tent, places to seat and grill. Free of charge.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The place looks abandoned, there is a narrow gate so big rigs can only park outside the compound.
Lots of local fishermen come to fish, the mosquitoes are still there.
good place to stay a night. we catched some fishes for dinner. but be aware of moskitos- you don't want to stay outside during dawn (we wanted to cook outside because of the heat....).
However, we would not recommend to go swimming. Saw some crocodile. Don't know how big, but still didn't see locals doing this...
We made it here from San Ignacio in one day which surprised us. Super quiet, dark as we drove deeper into park than the coordinates. No Tigo reception.
Report Check-InTrès bonne place avant un long moment direction San Ignacio de Velasco. Calme durant la nuit. Pêche possible.
Report Check-InPeaceful place to spend a night. Some trash, lots of tiny flies at dusk. Nice swim after all that red dust.
Report Check-Insame conditions as described before.
we were very happy to find his place as it was raining so we could get a comfortable and dry place under a shelter
Just us and a couple of horses on a Sunday afternoon. We parked right next to the large shelter, but you can drive right down to the other end and be well away from the road
