Make a Right on to King Rd off 95 N. It’s a very smooth dirt road. There are campsites both on your right and left with fire pits of rocks before the entrance to Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. Very peaceful with mountain backdrops. It’s a BLM 14 days limit carry in carry out. The sites are clean so please keep it that way for everyone to enjoy!

five star ⭐ place! great views, great cell, and the wildflowers are going to bloom all over the hills in a week or two

Great boon-docking site in Kofa National wildlife refuge off of king road, not far from quartzsite, road runner blm area. Beautiful views and sunsets

great place. a lot of areas to pull out. large storage.

This dirt parking lot is huge. We hauled a 30ft trailer and did not want to drive in any more. This parking lot off 95 is flat and has plenty room for us to turn around. It’s perfect for us.

Lots of camping off Palm Canyon Rd just before entrance to KofA. (There is also boondocking inside the park but you have to stay with 100 ft of the road.) Huge, flat, open area. Very clean and quiet. Road is hard packed dirt, gravel, some washboard. Not at all busy when we were there in Feb, may be busier during the Quartzite rock show but it is about an hour from QZ so probably not as busy as places closer to town. A bit windy, not sure if that is always the case. Beautiful mntn views to the east and gorgeous sunsets to the west.

Well maintained dirt road with many areas to pull into. Lots of campers around, but plenty of space for everyone, didn't feel crowded. Road was busy with ATVs during the day, very quiet at night. TMobile was spotty.

Beautiful camping spot that hides you from hwy 95 and a hiking trail nearby. Just follow the OHV road east and you'll find the trailhead. Beautiful views.

Nice place. Not as crowded up north around Q. On a different cell tower system so not over saturated service.
Kitfoxes tried to make friends.
Good hammock camping in the area if you are clever and resourceful. I car camped and stayed in my hammock 4 out of 7 nights.

Absolutely beautiful place to park and chill!! Wide open, tons of room. Road was dirt but good!! Good cell service. Looking forward to sunset and sunrise!!

Report Check-In

Far enough spots away from each site that you don’t really hear your neighbors.
Only negative is off-road vehicles drive fast on the dirt road and kick up a lot of dust. But as long as your off the dirt road you should be fine. No dumpsters or bathrooms.
Excellent phone coverage!
