Description

A finca near D&D brewery with a lot more room for camping. 9 dollar per person per night. Pool, showers, a beautiful garden and more. Places for tent campers on the grass. Big rigs might fit in here but it would be a tight squeeze. Wifi available. Electricity outlets available at the base of the light poles. Bring an extension cord.

UPDATE JULY 2018: now called Bio Paradise - signs lead you all the way. Don’t look for a finca sign.

Parked at the brewery but enjoyed the trails. entry is 150 lempiras but ask at D&D if staying there and they give you a discount voucher which brings it down to 100. The manager told me there's around 10km of trails so leave enough time if you want to do them all - I chose the perimeter ones - basically those visible on maps.me plus a couple of wider ones that weren't - and it took close to 3 hours at a reasonable pace (the mosquitoes will have you if you go slower than that - take repellent!). Beautiful forest with some nice miradors, rivers and pools.

The lady told us in a highly arrogant manner that it costs 500 lp for two in a tent. That is more than 20 dollars!!!! Totally insane. We left and camped at the brewery. Invested the price difference in really nice beer :o)

I came here and hiked the trails while staying down the road at D&D brewery. Immediately I regretted not camping here instead. The grounds are beautiful, and the camping area is right by two lovely little swimming pools and the river. It’s actually quiet! A precious almost non-existent thing in Central America. Even if camping here costs more, it seems very worth it since you also get access to the trails. The hiking was serene and beautiful with a wide variety of plants, and pretty well labeled trails.

Nice park to spend the night. The hike and plants around the pond are beautiful. We made the mistake of parking at the front of the reception building. Drive back by the swimming pool and you’ll find better spots.

Cost is 433 Lempiras per person. Not the cheapest option, but one of our favorite places to stay in Honduras. The nights are cool and quiet and a great experience sleeping in tropical forest.

Clean toilets, hot showers, and swimming pool. In our opinion, a better option than D&D brewery, which you’ll be parked under the endless sun most of the day.

Only downside is that it’s quite a trek to get back to the main road. It’s 20 minutes just to get to the main road where IVO’s cafe is.

Finding flat ground can also be tricky. But there’s a couple spots.

They ask us 9 dólar per night. To much for us. We came back.
Day use 100 lempiras pp.

Superb place to stay for the night. On a very hot Honduras day the shade and cool air was perfect. We slept well. And yes, there are lots of mozzies so bring your spray!

After having some brews at D&D, we headed here for the night. The manager was not the nicest when we tried to negotiate the price, but the property is pretty so we still stayed. It was a Saturday night and the camping area was packed with cars from the cabinas. Mosquitos and ants were terrible as well. We wish we had just stayed at D&D for much cheaper. We walked the trails in the am which were nice at least!

Signs say now Biosfera Paradise, to camp here is 8$ pp. the property is beautiful, very well kept with sign with name of trees and lots of info and trail, also a nice clean river with natural pools to jump in to refresh. Not sure why but we paid 150 limpira pp to stay with our truck camper, they rent also rooms for 4 persons for 40$ ... if you are alone still 40$....

wow, this is amazing. Camp in the middle of the forest and many trails through an amazing forest. Strongly recommended!
First he wanted 190 per person, got him down to 150 Lmp.

We didn't sleep there, but we really enjoyed the hiking trails. They are well indicated.
Entrance was 100L per person

Great place. Not sure why you would choose the Brewery over this. Make sure you get a trail map as you will be rewarded with beautiful views of Lago Yojoa, gushing streams and rivers, tropical plants, coffee and lots of butterflies. Add pool and clean shower with warm water if you dare to plug the shower into the electrics ( look up!). Also try the tamales in the cafeteria - delicious

Beautiful spot, flowers, trails river side, good breakfast, much better than d&d brewery where we only went for dinner, Alex such a nice host

The place is like in paradise. A good spot to relax and to enjoy all the different plants. Pool with fresh cold water, clean toilets and a cold outdoor shower. Only negative point: When we arrived The manager was rude and it seemed we were disturbing. We payed 8 USD per people/night. No chance to negotiate.

a true paradise in the tropical forest. Pool, outdoorshower and a lot of nature to explore, Wifi, electricity and water, strongly recommand 300 L per car

Really nice place, has everything to relax for a few days. Wifi is working rather well next to the cabanas. Shower is cold and outside but that was the only 'negative' point for us. Small hikes to nice view points, swimming pool, friendly owner: highly recommended. We stayed 2 nights and negociated price down to 250L for two people per night.

Beautiful place ! Camp site next to the pool, just by a lovely river ! Shade all day. Better place, in terms of campsite than the brewery where you camp in a large field. 150L per adult, kids did not pay.

They have wifi but its slow. Beautiful grounds. we were the only ones staying there.
