There is a dirt road pull off that myself and another car camper happened to stumble across! It has a two-sided entry. On the north is a little flatter & easier to pull up, and south entrance is more steep. My Ford Escape still made the south entrance though. It’s directly off the highway so you get a lot of highway noise, but trees hide you from the road for some privacy.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Exacty as described. noise from the road is quite loud here. Can also only fit probably 2 vehicles but we had the place to ourselves. Good if you just need a place to crash for the night.
Report Check-Innice place. as said before north side of the pulloff is easier to get up. has a fairly flat place to camp once you drive up the steep dirt trail. very peaceful after about 11pm, traffic died down, nice rock formation nearby
Report Check-InPulled up in the rain and decided it looked a little sketch for our AWD Ford Escape to get up and be able to get out of in the morning. Pull off also right in front of a private residence and before the entering National forest sign so unsure if it is truly a forest service road?
