Nice setting and done trees between sites. Picnic tables but no fire rings. Fires are not allowed. As others mentioned the road and train is nearby. It's ok. The location is good as a base to Yoho activities. On the road to Takakkaw Falls. I was able to pay $3.25 for a shower at Kicking Horse Campground

Small campground. You hear the highway and train but didn't bother us that much. Pit toilets were ok.

self reg still 18.75 a night. you fill out a form with credit card details on so no need for cash.
we found it very loud with highway as its right next to a really steep down so all the trucks use their engine breaking. fine with earplugs but wouldn't stay there again unless desperate!

nice place to stay. surrounded by mountains. noice from the train and road. but is was oke for us.

Very nice Campground.
Yes, you can hear the traffic, but it’s ok.
The view of the Mountains is great!
Came here around 7pm, still a lot of free spots.
Good cellphone reception

Thought this campground was closed for the season, but it’s not! The road noise is definitely real, but the views are stunning, one of the few campgrounds in the Rockies where you can see the mountains! :)

very loud, trains, trucks, at night a bit better, waterfall 10 km very beautiful afternoon with rainbow, places costs 18, 75$, some are for big rigs, fills up in the afternoon

There was no more spots available but we were told we could stay in the parking lot right next to the pit toilets, sink with running tap water (perfect to do the dishes), and covered picnic tables. Charged us 11.5$.
The view is amazing!

Nice spot, $18.75 self register. Either cash or credit card.
Noisy train and highway but it was good for 1 night.

Nice place to stay, we sow a Black bear just in the campground! Just be informed that if the campground is full, you can stay in the overflow parking spot for 11$.gets busy quite fast in this period.

very nice place away from the crowds at Banff. Steep sheer rock faces surround for a beautiful setting. $18.75 per night with pit toilets and boil before drinking water.

This was the last weekend open! We tried kicking horse but it was closed despite the website. This is a nice park with little amenities. No power or running water. Pit Toilets. They do have outdoor sinks in the summer.

Found the last free spot around 2pm, so be early at busy days (first come, first served).
basic campground for 18$/night. no campfires.

campground has overflow spots (must sleep in vehicle) for 10.90 when the campground fills up -- no need to worry about reservations if you're happy to sleep in your car in the lot

Highway is very noisy and Train passes several time. Close to Takkakafalls. Some Sites only with Reservation.

cute campground close to the highway. Sites with picnic table and a fire pit (you need to buy a permit though). There is a sink with cold water outside one pit toilet and also a shelter with 3 tables. Paid 17.60 $, self registration.
