Description

Secluded Beach at the end of road. Been here several times and never had any issue. Would not recommend setting a fire.

Indeed a beautiful spot with an amazing sunset. However I spoke to a local who was walking his dog. He mentioned that a couple of weeks ago there was an accident in that involved drunk teens resulting in a death in that field. There’s even a memorial for her by the water. I felt a little uncomfortable staying the night so we left. If you decide to stay please respect the memorial area, especially if you arrive in the dark :)

Stopped for a picnic.

Spot is at the end of Wharf Rd. Road was freshly graded. No sign of any kind.

Stay on graded portion as the ground is very soft. Suitable only for cars, vans, and SUV's/pickup trucks.

Very seclude on beach small parking area. Dirt road 1 kl. When dry very solid I would not use it if rain unless you have a 4x4.

Beautiful level little pull-in spot next to a beach. Noted high tide comes fairly close to the vehicle though, so probably not ideal in stormy weather. Lots of murderous mosquitos and horse flies; mosquito netting over windows/door/hatch a must, and having an electric tennis racket for bugs certainly came in handy. Very popular with locals late into the evening and early in the morning, (dog walking and boat launching). Not much privacy. It was certainly beautiful though!
