Nice scenic rest area, has wind sheltered picnic areas.
No issue parking overnight at NM rest areas.

We stayed at South side, there is a few spots for trailers and RVs. Restrooms, picnic tables,
Report Check-InStopped by but didn't stay. I was heading NB truck/travel trailer, ramp is short, from 70-35mph with a semi on my tail in the night. Trucks and trailers to the RIGHT. I ended up on the left so I couldn't stay. I was not the only one blind sided. At least I'm not a professional trucker trying to stop for sleep.
Report Check-InNot a bad stopover if you’re traveling on I25. Fairly quiet, just the trucks idling and coming/going. We stayed in the southbound rest area for one night in our van. Bathrooms were adequate.
Report Check-InWe parked in the dirt lot next to the semi trucks. Other than their engine idle noise, it was a quiet night.
