We are Stay Here for one Night and no one nocked on our door.

police knocked about 11pm on all of the overnight vehicles (6 or 7) advised "no camping in vehicles at business or public parking anywhere in the county". Then told us all to head south over 7 mile bridge and park in the boat ramp parking area on the right side of the road just off the bridge. this area is explicitly marked NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING but she says they don't patrol there.

As an update to my previous comment. Last night I was in the McDonald’s parking lot just sitting in the back of my van (doors open) relaxing and around 9:00 pm, the police stopped to warn me not to park anywhere overnight in Monroe county as it is illegal camping and $500 fine. These guys are serious, I’ve never seen something like this in my 5 years of traveling on the road in the USA. So be advised

Arrived here in the evening to stay the night behind the McDonald’s’s along with 5 other RV’s and Vans. At 1:15am local police came knocking and advised us to leave the place as it is not permitted to park (County law) and that it is private property. A person we know that was 1 of the RV’s had stayed a few nights without issues. So be warned, come here at your own risk.

The McDonald’s closes at 10:00 pm and the Winn-Dixie closes at 11:00 pm so the parking is empty.

Stayed a couple of nights. Currently McDonalds is drive through only, so no toilet there. It’s a noisy night with public transit buses seemingly choosing to park by the 5-6 RVs / vans overnighting. There’s small bag garbage disposal by the bus stop, Winn Dixie groceries and a gas station. Publix across the road. Pet friendly as in parking lot.

Stayed here overnight for 1 night. Kind of a random spot but had no issued. Purely just to park, and there were random cars throughout the night that would stop and talk. Got there late, left early.

Stayed overnight 1 night behind McDonalds and had no issues. McDonalds has free WIFI and they open early 5am-11pm to use their restroom facilities.
