Only thing you’re gonna see here is the light from the local gas station, still a good spot and a cool town. 10/10 would stay again but don’t plan on stargazing

Report Check-InLots of gravel parking. Quite off the highway spot, with easy access. Was hoping for some Stargazing, however have a heavy cloud cover. Good hiking on the roads throughout, as well.
Report Check-InHad BBQ at the Tonopah Brewery. Highly recommend stopping there for some great Beer and BBQ. Then it was a short drive to the Stargazing Park. Lots of nice flat places to park and it’s far enough away from the road that we had a soundless nights sleep.
Report Check-InGot in at around 10:30pm. Good location! Quiet, with some light from the nearby gas station.low key location...
Report Check-Instill a good spot. was the only one there. minimal wind, no road noise, good cell service, didn't see the previous mentioned broken glass
Report Check-InGreat spot for the night! Quiet, plenty of space and room to walk the dogs. We parked on the south side of the fence, very level and had a peaceful night of sleep. No one else out there until the morning. We did not get much stargazing in however due to the high school football game going on and super bright lights from the field.
Did see a lot of broken glass and small trash bits, assuming this is a party zone on the weekends. There is a trashcan inside the gate to the park so please pick up after yourself!
Not sure what was up with the cell connection, we did not have great signal on either visible or tmobile, even with the we boost.
Report Check-InGreat spot, level for our 24ft Class C. Quite and safe. Water down by the park area.
Report Check-InReally good place to stop for a few days. Wehave a 36ft tt and had no problem pulling in and out. If you go up over a little hill you can have more options to stay. It was very quiet, no bugs, it wasn't windy when we were there. There is a lot of old trash and broken glass out from where we were but not an eyesore. internet was great and could do zoom sessions with no problem. We would stay here again.
Report Check-Insecond time sleeping here. feels safe, quiet, great Verizon signal. windy but not bothersome. no shade during day.
Report Check-InNot a bad spot, just off highway, close to grocery store and dollar store, decent Verizon signal. The truck stop lights make the star gazing pretty awful but otherwise this spot is ok….
Report Check-InThe sports complex closer to the raid was better for my Class C and Toad. The lights from the Texaco flood the area now, stat gazing was greatly inhibited. :-(
Report Check-Inquiet and secluded with great views of nearby mountains - gas / store / water refill nearby
Report Check-InThis is a great spot! Turn right after the 76 station (there is a sign) and drive up the hill. The park is a completely fenced in little square with benches and picnic tables (makes a great little dog park!) You can park by the park or even further up the hill. Just down the street is a coffee shop that has breakfast sandwiches, a grocery store, and a dollar store. No toilets and only sage bushes for privacy but we only saw 2 other people camping and there was plenty of space to spread out. The park does have a big garbage can as well. My only complaint is that there is a lot of trash. We filled an entire garbage bag of beer bottles, plastic bags, and random stuff.
Report Check-InI saw a No Overnight Parking sign in the lot behind the Baseball field which is very close to these coordinates. Maybe it’s because it’s still on school property? Idk. Didn’t stay. Felt weird staying so close to a school during the academic year.
Report Check-InTurn on the road next to the 76 gas station, across from the family dollar. Drive past where the pavement ends, up a short dirt road. There is a fenced in area with picnic tables and star gazing benches. Great cell phone service and plenty of flat spots.
