Tolle Lage direkt am Pazifik. Alles ist sehr sauber, Duschen, Toiletten, Gasherd zum kochen. Sehr schöne Lounge, wo man im Schatten sitzen kann. Gutes WiFi.

Just updating

Tent/vehicle $10 ppn/day as it is "5+5" for the facilities. $15 for dorms but I preferred my tent.

Then manager has his way of behaviour, but he is not a bad person at all, just as I saw the other comments here.

This gem is worth the drive. $5/person for camping. They charged us $15/week additional to use the pool, even though we only stayed a night. We got our money’s worth, as it’s a clean, pretty pool and kept Caspian occupied for hours. Camping spot was on gravel/grass that absorbed the rain fairly well. Amazing lightning show over the water. So many comfortable seating and lounging options here that give a very relaxing vibe. Clean, cold showers and separate bathrooms. Large kitchen with four-burner stove, sink, cookware. Kept quite clean. Lots of outdoor showers for cleaning up after the beach. Surfboards for rent and I believe lessons are also available. As the name implies, guests normally come here for the surfing. There are chitras (sand flies), though bug spray keeps them away pretty well. No Wi-Fi, but we were given the password for Tortuga next door and could pick it up from camp. Met lots of nice people, including the French guy mentioned in a previous review. ;)

Seems to be a great place this hostel, but as with everything, people make the difference. We were unlucky and the guy over there was rude and unwilling to help. Hope it is only momentary.
Stayed one night (it was late) and ran away from there.

Other than that, Guanico is a lovely place to chill and surf. You can stay elsewhere without needing to pay, we just needed electricity and wifi.

Great beach view parking I loved it here! Great beginner surfing. 5$ pppn. This is a short hardly developed stretch of coastline, very chill. The best wifi we found was the Tortuga Wifi accessible from the park spot, it's decent. Whole fried fish around here for $7

Good place for a few days. Nice walks and bike tours (ask Nico for details). Good restaurant nearby (Las Palmas). Wifi has data limit, is shaky and, unfortunately, often not available. No phone signal either. We had a few power cuts because of rain.

Awesome place to relax, enjoy the quiet beach, nice waves, awesome vibes of Guanico. Nic the Swiss owner is more than welcome, the Surfcamp designed with lots of love!

We stayed here and could use the pool, yoga room, Chillout area, table tennis, billard, Wifi, books, electricity, showers and toilet. Using kitchen and fridge is sometimes possible, when there are few guests.

So come by and enjoy the chilled vibes, surf board rental, awesome view of the waves and lots of good experiences.
