Description

Old bypassed highway that leads to a dead end with no houses. There is an old rest stop on the right about 1 km out thats big enough for multiple RVs and easy to turn around. Easily accessed from the east bound exit 333 but requires a u-turn if you are going west bound.

Love it!! It's one of my favorite spots. I don't even hear the cars and trucks on the highway anymore. The view on the river is awesome too. Some locals drive by and some others come to walk their dogs. I've spent a couple of days here so far and it's just been so nice. nights are quiet and dark too!

J'adore!!

I stayed overnight in the large roadside pullout and enjoyed a quiet night's sleep. There is one offshoot from the paved road that puts you next to the water; however, I didn't want to risk the chance of getting stuck as the short road in was muddy. As you get closer to the old bridge you will see people use that part of the road for burnouts, so I avoided that area as well. Another offshoot road near the end had a "no trespassing" sign. Adequate cell signal.

Stayed one night in our campervan. Gravel pull off/rest area. Near major hwy so it could be a bit noisy at times with the trucks passing. A few cars drove pass, but no issues. ATT and Google Fi full bars, good service.

Nice place, we took one of the little road, a little bit wet, small rig could go there. Right under the highway. Good spot if you want to fish your lunch! 😉

Suitable for trailers. Very quiet if you don't mind with the highway traffic in the trans Canadian highway.
