Great campsite, well equipped and set up for camping & overlanding. This is the place to stop before or after crossing the Nicaragua- Costa Rica border. The campsite is about 10km to the border. Please only use Maryse's package service if you also want to stay overnight here. Apparently there were a lot of travelers who made excuses for this wonderful drone service without staying overnight. This service will probably be discontinued soon. Since fair. DHL Liberia also stores packages as an alternative.

Motorcycle Camping. Stayed longer than planned. The hosts Fred and Maryse are very friendly and helpful with good suggestions of places to visit in the area. They have put lots of effort into the camp sites and have a great camp kitchen and clean toilets and showers(much better than everywhere else in C.A) Would definitely recommend as a stopover.

Stayed one night, Casa Soley is a very nice and well maintained place, the hosts very welcoming and helpful.
We heard howling monkeys in the morning.
Beach at 2km distance looks clean and nice, but Playa Rajada at 16 minutes drive is simply great!

The nicest camping we visited in CR!! Nice outdoor kitchen with tables to sit and eat, a hammock to chill, big showers and toilets with paper and soap, Everything is very clean and very creative! Maryse and Fred are so lovely people who make you feel very welcome! Nearby you also find some nice beaches where you can go for a swim! Perfect spot if you come from Nicaragua to relax after the border or to prepare to go to the border :-). Highly recommended!

Conviene ir al parqueo público del hotel dreams marea estás a 20 mts de la playa y es gratis también al estacionamiento público de la playa la rajada estas frente al mar y es gratis los recomiendo

Beautiful campground owned by a friendly French couple : Maryse and Fred.
Quiet and shady place, very clean ! Kitchen fully equipped and comfy bathroom.
6 flat pitches for tents and places for campervan.
5000 colones per person per night (and not 10 USD for 2 ppl as mentioned before).
Other possibilities to stay in some nice cabins into the wood, and houses to rent as well !
Highly recommended, a nice spot to relax.

Maryse et Fred nous ont accueilli à bras ouverts. Merveilleux spot pour camper. Les toilettes et la douche sont propres. Il y a une belle cuisinette bien fonctionnelle.
Il y a même de la récupération et du compost. Normalement, on peut y voir des singes capucins, mais nous n’avons pas eu chance pendant notre séjour.
Maryse a même fait un petit atelier peinture avec les enfants qui fut beaucoup appréciée!!

La plage du puerto Soley est accessible a la marche en 30 minutes. Je recommande le passage assurément!

Maryse and Fred welcomed us with open arms. Wonderful camping spot. The toilet and shower are clean. There is a nice, functional kitchenette.
There is even recovery and compost. Normally, we can see capuchin monkeys, but we were not lucky during our stay.
Maryse even did a small painting workshop with the children that was much appreciated!!

The beach of Puerto Soley is within 30 minutes walking distance. I recommend this place!

Run by a friendly and helpful french couple. Orderly, charming, equipped with a good kitchen, clean showers and toilets. Lot of artistic colourful objects laying around everywhere.
I highly recommend!

Great place to camp, owners (Fred and Maryse) are lovely. They recently build a campspot for tents that has a roof which is perfect during rainy season. This place also have private outdoor shower and bathroom. 6000c/p which is a great price for what you get. There is electricity and a commun kitchen you can use. You can hear and see monkeys and the garden is neat. Highly recommend.

We got here with no expectations before crossing the border to Nicaragua and it ended up being one of our favorite spots in Costa Rica! The camping is amazing, Maryse and Fred are the best, and the area of Bahía Salinas is gorgeous, with the most beautiful beaches we saw along the Pacific Coast of this country. The best is that is not so turistic so you can enjoy the beaches almost for yourself. We spent 2 nights here and would love to have stayed a little bit more to explore deeper the area. You can snorkel, go kayaking, take a boat trip for fishing and enjoy lovely sunsets. We highly recommend it!

Nous n'avons pas appelé avant d'arriver mais Fred et Maryse nous ont très bien accueilli et ont été supers avec nous et les enfants. Super activité peinture pour les enfants. très bien équipé et locaux très propres. Les emplacements pour le camping car pourraient être un peu plus grands et espacés. Peut-être que Fred pourrait installer une prise 220v aussi pour ceux qui n'ont pas de convertisseur 😁

We came here when it was already dark and unannounced, but the friendly campground dog announced our visit and we were greeted by Oscar the groundkeeper, as the owners were not around. He was really nice and showed us in and gave everything a good clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped, clean and working. In general it's evident that the owners care a lot about their campground! We ended up staying two nights and had a good time. Beaches and national parks are accessible within 20 minutes by car. We felt extremely safe and would definitely go back!
Look out for the lighting bugs ;)

We spent a great stay at Maryse and Fred! We had to stay there originally only one night.
What to say? We had a great welcome and we felt like at home. Maryse organized painting workshops for the children and took the time to look for bird feathers for them :). For us this stopover fell super well. The campsite has a very nice open kitchen with everything you need and the showers and toilets are great. And if need we can leave to Maryse the dirty laundry... everything will be washed and folded perfectly! In short a beautiful meeting and a magnificent place where we could have the chance to observe very closely capuchins!

On a passé un super séjour chez Maryse et Fred ! On devait y rester à l’origine seulement une nuit.
Que dire ? On a eu un super accueil et on s’est senti comme à la maison. Maryse a organisé des ateliers peinture pour les enfants et a pris le temps de chercher des plumes d’oiseaux pour eux :). Pour nous cette halte tombée super bien. Le camping a une très belle cuisine ouverte avec tout ce qu’il faut et les douches et toilettes sont nickels. Et si besoin on peut laisser à Maryse le linge sale… tout sera lavé et plié parfaitement ! Bref une belle rencontre et un lieu magnifique où on a peu avoir la chance d’observer de très près des capucins ! Ah et les plages aux alentours sont sublimes ! Et pourtant on en a vu de belles ! Foncez

Tuvimos una gran estancia en casa de Maryse y Fred. En principio íbamos a quedarnos sólo una noche.
¿Qué puedo decir? Nos dieron una gran bienvenida y nos sentimos como en casa. Maryse organizó talleres de pintura para los niños y se tomó el tiempo de buscar plumas de pájaros para ellos :). Para nosotros fue una gran parada. El camping tiene una cocina abierta muy bonita con todo lo necesario y las duchas y los baños son estupendos. Y si necesitas dejar tu ropa sucia con Maryse... ¡todo será lavado y doblado perfectamente! En resumen, ¡un hermoso encuentro y un magnífico lugar donde tuvimos la oportunidad de observar a los capuchinos muy de cerca! And beaches all around are juste wonderfull !!!! Go

The best camping of our Central American trip! Maryse and Fred, a French couple, are VERY welcoming and they created a place that is warm, cosy and convenient. They have a few cabins and 2 houses for rent as well as space for rigs and tents. Price is approximately 5000C per adult and 3000C per kid with vehicle and electricity. It is close to the beach. For us, the most beautiful beach of the pacific so far. We caught some fish we barbecued at the campground. Open kitchen with everything you need. Several toilets with tp and several showers with soap. First time ever the soap! Everything is very clean. It’s possible to have your laundry done and there is also a spot to handwash your clothes. They thought about everything, recycling, lights, cute decorations and Maryse took care of our kids for like half a day, doing painting and creating a few masterpieces (see pics). Maryse and Fred are very nice and accommodating and they do a delicious sangria too !! We highly recommend !!!

Nous avons passé une nuit mais on aurait pu rester 3 ou 4. Mais nous n’avions pas le temps pour cela par rapport à notre programme. Maryse et Fred sont très accueillants et près à vous conseiller et faire en sorte que votre séjour soit agréable. Les installations sont très très bien (douches, toilettes, cuisine, coin pour laver son linge à la main si besoin, hamac, prises pour vos appareils, lumières la nuit...). Et autour nous avons seulement le temps de voir Playa soley qui est belle et reposante. Parfait pour une baignade et en prime nous avons acheté notre poisson frais du soir avec les pêcheurs ! Bref tout y est pour du calme des loisirs et du confort :) Allez y les yeux fermés ! Julien et Lilou

Whether if you are entering Costa Rica or exiting the country, this camping is a great option, they offer tent camping, cabins and any size rigs parking spots options, 35mins from the Costa Rica/Nicaragua border, clean facilities, great wifi, good vibe, pet friendly, 10 minutes from the beach, easy access, no height limit, power available. The owners Fred and Marissa make you feel at home from day one.

We spent one night at this campsite. With a motorhome do not enter the car park but turn right just before the campsite and go see the owners on foot. Very clean toilets and kitchen. Good wifi. The owners are French and we were able to talk a lot with them. 5000 colons per person.

Cabins and house available for a raisonnable price. Place for your van also. The camping site is super cute and well organized. There is a kitchen fully equipped with coffee at your disposition. Nice chilling spot with hamac and coloured lights.
Restaurant at a walking distance.

Beautiful, relax, tranquil and safe place for family.
Take the time to talk with the owners. They will give you good advice and they are fun people.

Nous avons passé 4 jours avec notre camper à la "casa soley" Maryse et Frédéric nous ont accueilli chaleureusement, ils sont adorable. Le camping est très bien situé, proche des plages et de La Cruz. Toilettes, douche, eau, électricité, cuisine équipée et Wi-Fi très efficace (par exemple pour le télé travail) ce qui est exceptionnel au Costa Rica.les singes et les perroquets nous tiennent compagnie tous les jours. Notre meilleur étape camping au Costa Rica. Je recommande vivement !

This is the place to be! We arrived here after a hectic day at the Nicaragua border. This was is the perfect place to chill out and rest.

The French owners are super nice and the shades campground offers respite from the sun. Clean bathrooms, cold showers, and good WIFI. Very animal friendly. We let our cat roam freely around. The resident black dog is very friendly.

It’s big rig friendly, but depending on your size, you may have to park in the parking lot by the entrance. Otherwise you can park further up by the kitchen area.

Perfect location to visit the very under-touristed beaches nearby.

Bikes for rent. And lots of seating areas and hammocks nearby.

A really nice place to stay and relax for many days. There are accomodations for all: camping, parking for van, cabinas and even 1 house (where we stayed 3 nights). Very useful and equiped common kitchen. It is well maintained, clean, and lovely decorated. Hosts are really friendly and helpful and love to share respective travel experiences. The area is really quiet, not so touristic. Access to the beach is easy. Highly recommend to go there if you are nearby!

This is one of the nicest places I have camped. The owners are very friendly and the facilities are great. There are hammocks and plenty of places to relax around the camp along with an outdoors kitchen. I'm here with a rooftop tent on my car, but there are different available accommodations here such as an area for regular tents and cabinas.
