Description

Free. This country park is right on the river with a couple dozen picnic spots that are great for camping. No toilets or trash containers. Great for canoeing or kayaking and quiet on the weekend that we stayed. Edge of Saguaro National Park. Clean up your space to make it a good campsite. Overall, one of our best campsites in TX.

Excellent spot! Very quiet except a bit of distant road/train noise. Limited to no cell. No facilities, pack it in, pack it out. Didn't seem overly trashed due to the dispersed nature of the park but I picked up 8 grocery bags of trash before I left.

had to check in & add some photos because this spot is incredible! We have cell service where we are parked which is on the left coming in before the loop. No alligator sightings in the 4 days we have been here but the sheriff stopped by and said they are basically in hibernation this time of year. game wardon also came by just fyi.

Bennet Park is between the banks of with river that doubled on itself period there are about a dozen campsites with no trash cans, a few tables, a very nice place. those of us who use our overlander are generally the kind of people that pick up their trash behind them it's the lazy slabs all over the country who just leave trash and beer and crap everywhere for other people to pick up come a few more than lucky ones that has been raised up in a nice way he will have leave this place nice and clean behind you. If you want to unlucky once that leave crap around everywhere, that's to kind of person you are and that's what you were doing to yourself not just to the people that live near here who have to clean up after you.

Free. This country park is right on the river with a couple dozen picnic spots that are great for camping. No toilets or trash containers. Great for canoeing or kayaking and quiet on the weekend that we stayed. Being Texas, the fishermen do leave their trash, so do like we did and clean up your space to make it a good campsite. Overall, one of our best camp sites in TX.
