Description

This is one of many pull offs along the road here, but this one is plenty big enough for a dozen cars and seemed a lot more level then the first one lower down the road. Incredible views of the mountains, ocean, and Santa Barbara. Fairly quiet during the day and almost silent at night.

WARNING: very steep climb for about 8 miles and hairpin turns. I’m in a shuttle bus and the engine started heating above normal operating temp on the way up. Also beware of bikers bombing the hill road.

Great spot. Road coming up to here lists as closed but was open to traffic both directions.

Great spot with an amazing view. Much hotter on top of the mountain then down. on the coast. Like people have said bugs and gnats are a pain but are less at night. Spot was an easy in and out with my cargo trailer. A few people stopped along the way to park and take pictures but overnight was quiet and uneventful

Nice view. Only couple other rigs here. Good internet and quiet on the road after dark.

Great Spot, buggy and usually kind of busy but an awesome spot nonetheless.

Super cool spot with a killer view of the city, the drive isn’t too bad if you take it slow, a 2x4 like mine can make it up without a sweat! Not so leveled though, had a bit of a struggle to make my rig leveled, managed but isn’t 100%… Worth the view though!

Amazing views!! Road up was a bit scary as some of the it has fallen due to heavy rains. We made it up with plenty of room in a rav4. Two other cars at our site but it was very quiet with little traffic nearby. Gorgeous view of the stars. Please please pick up after yourselves so we can all share this gorgeous place.

second time staying here. the road has really eroded after the winter rains. we felt at the limit with our extended length transit van. we would not try again. not recommended for big rigs or large campervans.

still a gorgeous area.

pack out all trash, including toilet paper.

Verizon 5G 2 bars, fast speed though ! Only one up here, absolutely amazing view on all sides. Perfect for sunset and sunrise! The road on the way up is crumbled on some edges but this lot has space and seems pretty ok 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m staying cause it’s so damn beautiful!

Here by myself. Amazing, amazing site.

Way better than the one just before this, down the hill.

Report Check-In

worth driving a little further up the road for this spot. incredible views, cell service. a few other vans joined us, as did locals to view the sunset. loud exercisers in the morning, and of course some litter, but hard to complain.

please bury or pack out your used toilet paper.

1st and 2nd spots had people but went 400 feet up the road and stayed, it was moderately level with trash and little traffic through the night

Report Check-In

Steep road but the Pulloff really has amazing views and a lot of space for cars / RVs. Stayed there without any problems despite of some people having a party but they left. Recommend.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for the night along with one other, was quiet after locals coming up for a smoke with views left at about 10-11pm. Not flat but manageable. Would come here again on a weekday.

Report Check-In

As described. Pretty windy. Awesome view. Lot is flat but not level. Twisty but good paved road. Bikers zoom down the road, please be cautious. Fair number of cars even at night driving by

Report Check-In

Better view here than the first pull out that’s marked on iOverlander on this road. On a Saturday in June lots of folks showed up for sunset, but only one other van stayed the night. Not totally flat but not too bad.

Some crags right nearby on this road if you’re a climber.

Report Check-In

Very nice view, and quiet during the night. Watch out for bikes when driving up the road!

Report Check-In

We got in after sunset, lots hair pin turns. But honestly worth waking up with the view. Got cold at late night early morning. A bus and three other vans were already parked here so there’s a lot of room. Bikers in the early morning so watch out, good service though we have T-Mobile

Report Check-In

Great spot to spend the night. Large pull off. I originally went to the first one but this had better views v spend the night with about four other vehicles. Some road noise but not much for it to be any issue. Would not recommend for a large RV some of the hairpin turns maybe too extreme

Big pullout with a great view over the mountains and the ocean. Not completely leveled but enough to sleep.
We stayed here for one night, it was very quiet as traffic dies down during night and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset!
