Show ticket at the gate, drive on. Before entering the second gate have your passport and visa checked, and tickets scanned. Passengers go in the terminal, driver stays in car. Show ticket at second gate, continue to where car gets scanned. Then continue to the ferry and give away ticket. Enter ferry, takes about 1.5 hours to the island.

we arr8ved at the ticket office at 14h00 and we were able to get the 15h30 ferry to farasan.
before going onto the ferry, passengers leave the car and go in main building. passports check and photocopies. women go in separate waiting area before getting checked and passport and ticket checked. then another big waiting room before going onto the ferry.

Free service to Farasan Islands. Max height 3.1 meter. Everyday 7 am and 3.30 pm. First get your free ticket one km further south on this road (see building in photo). Uncomplicated process but in winter ferry might already be full.

We came here to get the boat to Farasan Island and were told that we need to register first in the office on the same road about 1 km down on the opposite side. Although free with your passport you still get a ticket. Thank you KSA
