Description
Located on a working citrus farm, this site is attractively located and has some of the best ablutions you will find anywhere. Most but not all the sites are grass under trees (watch out for the birds bombing your tent/awning/truck roof!) and have 220V and taps, some have portable BBQs, there's a nice pool tight next to the orchards. Everything is neat and tidy although there was some building work in progress on new accommodation when we were there. Cristiaan, the son of the owner, was very friendly and although the site was heavily booked when we stayed, he managed to find a spot for us to camp. Unfortunately, due to the stands being close together, if your neighbours stay up to well after 11pm talking and laughing, you won't get to sleep till they do. They also accommodate overland truck groups from time to time so again noise may be an issue. That said, the facilities and location are great. Very nice looking modern chalet accommodation too.
