We camped here out of necessity from riding the last hour in the dark rain and some of the thickest fog imaginable. Has a site flat enough for tent and you could level out an suv or truck. Did have road noise but not bad. The clincher was the view we woke up to when the clouds parted.

By the time we got here the fog had cleared, but it was late and as previously mentioned it is out of the line of car lights from the road either side.. quiet overnight, minimal traffic and stunning views!
Report Check-Instayed the night. The spot is visible from the road, but fog isn't a rare thing in this area and at night you are hidden from the lights of the not very busy traffic.
Views in the glaciers are quite cool.
