The camp site consists of a large open grass field (suspected to once have been a soccer field). Ablutions are on the side of a nearby building - clean with hot water.
It is quite a historical place with a train station, fuel station, hotel, car museum, historical information center with history of area.

What a quiet and friendly place. Nice camping spots, clean ablutions, very friendly staff, nice restaurant and interesting museums. Definitely worth a visit, even when only for a day visit.
Report Check-InWe had lunch at the restaurant and the food was great! It’s really worth the stop. The campsite seems nice and there is a small pool. The car museum is worth a visit too
Report Check-InWell worth visiting and stopping for the night to learn about the history of this place being slowly renovated by the present owners. Campsite and ablutions as described earlier. They also have nice self catering rooms plus complete village houses to rent. Friendly and interesting staff. Level grassed campsite has no shade or braais (BBQs). Quiet, very rural and peaceful spot.
