Campsite just in front of the beach. Quiet, depending the date of your travel. Just a little light which is not bad.

We spent one night at this street without any problem. Also public access to the beach and you can snorkel at the reef in front of it. Shower in the town center are 10 pesos and bathrooms are free at the chedraui super market.

Report Check-InCould be a nice place to sleep and stay if you don’t have a dog.
We spent a single night in the place, extremely quiet and safe. It has public descent to the beach
Report Check-InSlept here one night.
In front of the seaweed (ehm..beach) nice breeze and seems safe, as the rest of the pueblito. No shade
We parked and slept in the little side street leading to the public beach (with another truck camper being there the same night).
Police drove slowly by with blue light at least every hour all night, didn’t stop though ;-)
If you sleep there, keep a low profile. Anyway not sure how much longer they accept overnight there due to chic condominiums all around... Lots of moskitos when we were there :-(
Still possible to overnight here. Calm street in Puerto Morelos. Police came by and were very friendly, though they did kick out an overlander some days ago due to neighbours' complaints (they were selling beer out of their bus).
