Description

Neat and tidy, level grassed sites, electricity, 180 degrees sea view, drinking water taps, washing basins and washing lines. Cellphone signal available.

You have access to the Gwaing river mouth going down a steep road. Beautiful scenery.

Was previously called Aqua Eden Camp but now managed by George Manucipality. We were pleasantly surprised.

R178 pd per site. Card facilities available. The Supervisor lives on site.

you don't need to book at the municipal office, you can just go to the camp :)

no shaded places, clean ablutions, wonderful view!

Report Check-In

We went to the campsite which looks lovely but were told by a groundkeeper that we have to booked at the Municipal Office in town situated at 82 Meade street.
We took the 20 minute drive to the office and the staff their seemed unclear how to book us into the site as the usual lady was on leave.
I was quoted two prices 195 and then 170 for 4 people, when I told them there was 2 of us they became confused. Also couldn't find the forms for booking.
Our plans changed so we didn't stay but it did look lovely and clean.

Report Check-In

Very neat, grassy campsite, but no shade and can be quite windy due to the elevation. The ablutions are kept clean throughout the day. Safe swimming at the river mouth - either in the ocean or the river. Life guards on duty during peak season. Rates more affordable than at Vic Bay. Recommend.

Nice place close to the beach. Quiet at night
