Pretty, Very quiet, didn’t see anyone else. The pin drops you at the dirt road, turn off on the right. The roads a bit overgrown now but you’ll be okay. Back in next to the fire ring. Not a great place to let the dog wander off too far. Much better than the 3 spots you’ll pass on the way here. 1-2 bars Verizon, it worked a little better when I walked up the road some. Super close to craters.

Report Check-In

As described…
Quiet, remote, no noises except birds and crickets. Fabulous sunset/sunrise on mountains and desert. A bit muddy if rainy.
I didn’t saw rattle snake but I kept my dog by the Delica. We love this spot for the view and quiet time. Very close to CBTM.

Report Check-In

the access road was a bit overgrown, but we made it fine in a RAV4. spot was private with a nice view of the mountains. we got service when we held our phones up high.

Report Check-In

Great place! Quiet, no one around, clean, with a beautiful back drop of the mountains.

Report Check-In

Great location!!! Dirt road on the way in. The spot is a two track off the main road. Beautiful spot at the base of the mountain range.

Report Check-In

Gorgeous spot, so quiet & peaceful. Seems like it never gets used, a little grown over. Made it (super slow) in my 22’ skoolie. Starlink worked well. Be careful of cactus & lots of coyote leftovers 🤢

Report Check-In

this camping spot is open, it is not on the left but on the right side of the road. Drive in a little dirthroad and you'll find two great spots, the first about 1/4 of a mile in, the second about half a mile in. Easy road. Great views. No fire ring due to extremely dry ground, grasses and sage brush. Hardly any service, goes on and off every few seconds.

Report Check-In

Great spot that’s fairly private. Beautiful wide open views! I ran into a rattlesnake here so be mindful if you’re walking about.

Report Check-In

d.ernst250 meant the second spot marked in this app. This one is maybe meant to be a little before the spot on the right side of the street down a sideway. We didn't drive fully in because the grass in the middle of the track was very high.

Report Check-In

We stayed for a quiet night. See no reason why it is marked close. A small road from the gravel road leads you to a place with fire rings. We didnt used them as it was very dry.

Report Check-In

Very quiet place. Not much traffic. Right next to the gravel road. As soon as you cross the cattle grate there is a big spot to the right. Gravel road is well maintained, a few washboards, but we had no problems in our class C pulling a Jeep.

Report Check-In

Unlike the other two BLM sites listed here at Craters of the Moon, this one isn’t immediately off the road but down a “driveway” BLM-style. Not recommended for low clearance.

Report Check-In

I wasn't able to find this place.
