Spigots on the end of the diesel islands. It is well water and they use it for all their fountain drinks etc. Tastes fine when you use your own hose (we have used this place twice), may have an off-taste if you use theirs - taste it to see. Also propane, a water jug filler (paid) and mini mart.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As per Today the water is shut off. Not much information from the lady inside.
Report Check-InCalled to make sure we could get water on our way south to Phoenix. Was told the water doesn't work anymore.
Report Check-InAsked the clerk and she told us we could only fill up to 1 gallon of water, even with a gas purchase. Not worth it if you plan to fill up a big tank.
Report Check-InMake sure you buy gas! The attendant came over while we were filling up to make sure we were. If Overlanders don’t buy gas here I can guarantee they will start charging to fill. Don’t lose this resource for everyone else! Other than that, great water pressure but a very busy gas station.
Report Check-InAs described. Water is at the pump. Flow was strong and no body bothered me as we filled up water and gas. Nice open gas station with Tesla chargers and big rig gas pumps too. Did not go inside.
Report Check-InStill a good place to get water, although diesel is expensive here. Much better diesel prices a few exits up at Anthem or Carefree Hwy East.
Report Check-InWater has no taste when you use your own hose. Can't speak to the taste when using theirs. Easy in and out.
Report Check-InUpdate: this water tastes really AWFUL, like it’s been in a hot garden hose.
Report Check-InAs described. Need your own hose. Water is a little slow flowing, took about 2 min to fill 15 gallons.
