A big flat open lot used for parking for coastal trail users. Good for a one night stopover.

we were going to park here, but as we pulled in there was a security guard taking down plate numbers and looking in windows. we did not stay.
Report Check-InOne quiet night here passing through. No signs and decent sized area. Was the only one all night no one even passed through while I was awake.
Report Check-InAs someone else said, this may be a bit confusing to find. I think the best way to find this spot is to drive west on W Alder until you run into a fence, then turn left and you are in the lot.
There are restroom a short distance down a trail, but they have combination locks and I think they already locked at night.
Beautiful hiking trail along the coast, and a short walk to Glass Beach.
Report Check-InWe arrived here around 6pm and decided to leave. Some homeless people were hanging around in the area, and we didn't have a good feeling about the place.
Report Check-InSort of confusing but it’s the gravel lot in front of the coastal trail. I couldn’t the trail the day I arrived (gnarly fog) but it’s the gravel lot behind the plumbing business. It also seems like the local businesses use for overflow employee parking.
There was another van the night I was there, and people started arriving to work the following morning around 5:30 am. Good for a night stopover.
