Description

Several places to tuck into the trees near Magpie Creek off of Dixon 5000 Road near Dixon Montana. Space for several rigs and room for tents. Scattered boulders around from past creek floods, and mature trees to conceal you from the highway and road. Finding places in this area was proving to be a challenge as the sun set, so I was thankful to finally find this spot. I believe this land is owned by the Flathead Indian Reservation, as much of this area is, but I'm not sure.

I camped here while on a motorcycle trip and in the middle of the night a momma black bear and cubs paid me a visit and chewed on the old deer bones left behind by some previous hunter. *gulp* You're out in nature, even though you're close to the road. Thankfully they paid my tent and bike no mind.

Verizon cell service....just barely. 1 bar of 1x. Enough to get a text through eventually.

Really bad mosquitos in June/July when I was here. And bears...apparently. lol.
