Something not right?

Description

A few minutes off I70, plenty of spaces along the dirt road to crash for an evening. Fufther from where this spot is, you can pull up by the pond and spend the night. If the pond has vehicles, you can go all the way to the cattle gate at the end of the road where the hunting area starts and park in the turnaround and have plenty of privacy

Nice little quiet pullout at the pond where you can see others have stayed and had fires. I backed up straight to the edge of the water. There is a large pothole that goes across the whole dirt road right before the second cattle gate, however it is easily passable with I'd say any vehicle. It might look like a mud hole but the bottom is made up of gravel and is hard packed. I drove through expecting to have to gun it but I couldn't even tell I was driving through a mud puddle in the road. I have full bars 4Glte Verizon. It's a little trashed with beer cans but not terrible. Great spot!

Stayed here at adder pond for 2 nights-Friday and Saturday night. We had no issues getting almost to the pond, but there was a big bump in the road right before the second cattle gate. Bunch of cattle and horse poop everywhere but still are good spot away from the route 70. Spotty cell reception but good enough to work from. Did from time to time make me wish we invested in starlink…maybe one day. Had a few locals drive by and had nothing to say but positive vibes for our trip and that we found a good spot around. Coyotes at night we’re howling so if traveling with a pet, stay cautious on this area! Happy traveling!

Nice spot. Not a ton of areas to truck camp. A few locals were fishing when we arrived about 6pm. Apparently, it is somewhat of a spot for younger kids to hang out late. Had a group of 4 cars come thru about 2am. No trouble, just loud, and honking horns, etc. Only stayed 1 night. Lots of horse manure!!

Very quiet area, far from light and noise pollution. This is a public hunting area and a grazing area, be respectful of boundaries, Ran into a couple of local hunters and some people fishing and a few other locals drove by but had no issues. Highly recommend
