Latest Check-Ins

There are several water points around the city. We came to the CONAF post to request permission to fill our water tanks, but it was closed and we found no one else in the city. We fueled the water in the tap of the square, and it looked like a very good water! In the square there is still open Wi-Fi, if necessary.

Report Check-In

We were here when a big thunderstorm passed. Good place to stay for a while and do the hike. Unfortunately, we had to return because of the continuing bad weather (hail and thunder). CONAF was closed, nobody around.

Report Check-In

Great spot! It's just a dead end/parking near the Conaf office, but beautiful view and so peaceful. We saw so many viscachas! Some hikes around. There's still one picnic table and possibly to camp protected by rocks wall. We could fill our water near the church (deserves a stop too), there's a tap.

Report Check-In

We stayed for 2 nights, before and after the trail to the lagunas Cotacotani. Was nice, quiet and we could fill our watertank.

Report Check-In

beautiful spot! only 2 rock walled tent areas, but the views and animals are awesome! families of Viscachas right outside the tent!
the road work was basically done by then and camping was free.

Report Check-In

Roadwork with lots of traffic. Not very nice at the moment... (November 2018)

Report Check-In

The watertap outside was frozen in the morning, but from the early afternoon clear water. Nice 3,8 km sendero starts from here, but the last part is not well marked. Beautifull park. They are building a toll road to lago Cotacotani, but the bridge s not there yet. Should be open soon.

Report Check-In

There is a tap water at right of the building outside.
we ask to the guard to charge our batteries. There is an electrical outlet in the entrance hall.

Report Check-In

no one in the guardaparque office. no toilet or water available when we were here. beautiful village made of stones, it changes from adobe !
