Guatemala
A quiet hotel just outside the town center (10 minutes walk) that will let you camp on their parking area. Okay place, but almost a little too quiet when we were there. The place felt kind of too big for only the two of us and two other guests.. Price: 100 quetzales
30q pp per night for camping

50 q/pp. Hot shower available. Owner is super nice. We parked next to the big empty pool, we liked it here
Report Check-InLevelled parking space very near to the road. 100 Q per person, too expensive.
Report Check-InWe really liked this place - best camping option around Lanquin. Very nice clean flushing toilets and warm showers. Friendly owner Roberto who speaks good English. We drove up a gravel ramp and parked up in the overflow parking area which we had all to ourselves and was very quiet. WiFi works fine if you sit on the benches and hammocks just outside reception.
Report Check-Ingood place to spend the night. 50q pp. warm showers and toilets, all very clean. didn't eat in the restaurant but looked good.
Report Check-InWe came in late. Stayed at the parking lot between hotel and road. Our dog stayed in the camper. No one bothered us.
2 x 40 Q./ night
Wifi is only in the hotel. The close everything (electricity, light, door, wifi-router) at 8 p.m.
Report Check-InReally nice, quiet and safe place. Easy to get to. Paid Q30 per person to park and sleep in our van. Friendly owner. Hot showers and clean bathrooms. Has a pila to wash clothes by hand. Has a restaurant, but we didn’t eat there. Tuk tuks around can take you to other restaurants for Q3 per person. Place is good for big campers.
Report Check-Inwrong location! N15°34'32.28", W 89°59'3.06" is right!
nice place!!! 30Q per person!
Camping for 40 quetzal/person. Lovely place with grass. No Wi-Fi after 09:00 PM.
Report Check-InCamped in the grassy area. Friendly owner Roberto, but he is offsite often. Speaks very good English. Initially quoted 35Q but then showed 30Q based on these reviews and he accepted. Restaurant is a little pricey. Showers are hot and excellent, and the facility is well maintained and very clean.
Report Check-InWe stayed here in our van for 30q pp, it's a large property the lady said it's best for us to park on the grass not in the parking lot although when we went to Semuc for the day we moved the car to the shaded parking lot. Nice and quiet here with everything you need. First hotel in Lanquin on your right off the main road. We enjoyed our stay here :) wifi in the main house
Report Check-InStayed 2 nights at this place to explore the caves of Lanquin and Semuc Champey. The campground served us well, it is a grassy area, no electricity or water at side but very clean flush toilets and warm showers ( felt like heaven after 2 weeks of no or cold showers) and a wash sink for your cloth. The camp area is below the road so you hear some traffic, however it becomes quiet once dark. Paid 30Q pp/night in truck camper.
Report Check-InHotel with a small camping area. Clean and hot showers. 40 QpP. In walking distance to the caves and to the town, where you can catch a collectivo up to Semuc Champey. When we visited, the roosters were very loud during the night...
Report Check-InOwner first want 50Q/pp for overnight with RV. Finaly, we accept for 30Q/pp. Children (8 and 6 years old) had to pay too. 150Q for RV with 5 peoples. I find it a bit expensive. But nice place. Showers and toilets. Wifi not availlable ‘actualy'...
Don't try the other hotel 'El Retiro' with a RV : more hard road and no place to park.
Paid 50 gtz per person/night. Quiet place and in walking distance to the caves. No wifi as the modem was broken. Just fine for a night or two and perfect with our dog as lot of space.
Report Check-InNice place with friendly people. Clean bathrooms, nice grassy area to camp and has wifi. We were 6 people with 3 cars and paid 30Q per person for one night.
Report Check-InNice campground next to the hotel/restaurant, clean showers, gate with guard, 30Q per person.
Report Check-InStayed here for two nights. 35Q/person/night to sleep in our car. Lots of room for vehicles of all sizes. The place was very quiet and peaceful. You can hear lots of birds and water running as they have a small waterfall on the property. Short walk into town where we took a collective to Semuc Champey 20-25Q/each way/person.
Note: the road to Semuc Champey can be fairly steep at times and was very muddy and slippery as it had been raining a lot recently.
This is the first hotel if you arrive in Lanquin. The last 12km is an unpaved rocky road but was easally doable with our 2x4 VW T4 without high clearance. Stayed in the parkinglot. Paid 50QZ for 2 adults. Kids didn't had to pay. Clean toilets and showers. No electricity available. We were able to use the wifi. Good food in the restaurant but don't book a private driver here to visit Semuc Champey. They asked 300Qz for this. We found easily a private pickup truck to take us to there and an other one to come back for free. You can also book tourist transport (about 40qz/person to get there and back) or take a collectivo.
Report Check-InThis is a Very nice place to camp either for a few days or overnight. This place is in lanquin which is down a very bad bumpy road which took us three hours. You can camp in the parking lot which we did or rent a room. There is a restaurant which has very nice food. It is gated with a guard so felt very safe. 10 min walk into the town. At the hotel there is horse riding available and a pool. There is also river rafting and you can book your tours for the bat caves and semuc chempe which is worth the money. There is also a laundry service or you can handwash clothes at the tubs by the banos also we got potable water. The showers are hot if you keep the pressure low and clean bathrooms. The price was 90 quetzals for five people. The hotel has no internet but the internet cafe in town is good. Definetly recommend
