Description
Cowlitz Boat Launch @ Trout Hatchery. Pick a spot in the grassy area on your right, or the smaller gravel area on the left. There are bathrooms, but we did not use them. There are also trash cans. The stay is limited to 3 days. The cell reception is minimal, limited to calls/text unless you have a booster, then you may be able to get online. This is a fairly busy launch site, but nothing terrible and it stayed very quiet all day and night. It's free!

Plenty of spots to park. Garbage cans, and pit toilet had paper and was relatively clean. Boats and people come and go, but was quieter than I expected. Watch out for fishing line and hooks left behind. We picked up quite a bit. Don't park on the center island where boaters park.
Report Check-InStayed 2 nights. People come and go with boats and such but it wasn’t terribly busy. Porta-pottie. Garbage bins. It’s a nice spot on the river. Felt safe. RVers, vanlifers, and car campers. Little to no reception.
