Parking is mainly for boat owners but some is available for others. Dock master said the police don’t bother people who overnight here and that was true for me. Kids do come and party though, once they leave it’s quiet

Very nice spot! We were sleeping in s small sedan, so it’s particularly nice to be confident about not getting a knock, a few people chilling to see the sunset and the sunrise but only a few car campers at night.
Report Check-InGood stay. After all the reviews I felt confident I wouldn't get a knock, so slept well. I did use earplugs for some loud music, but I'd stay again! Didn't use the porta potty as I have my own toilet. Plenty of room.
Report Check-InGreat night. Kids a little noisy but just a few of them. Guilford a nice town. Level spot easy to find.
Report Check-InDespite the 4 hour parking and security camera signs, no one bothered me through the night. Woke up in the morning to a bunch of locals enjoying the area.
Report Check-InLarge parking in a pleasant setting. There are picnic tables and portable toilets. I confirm the previous comments on the presence of noisy young people in the evening. Calm arrived around midnight.
Report Check-InWhat a lovely spot. The sunset was magnificent and the night really quiet for a Saturday. A lot of space (not leveled directly by the water, but are ok in the middle). Saw the police making a round this morning while having breakfast and they haven’t said a thing. Perfect
Report Check-InParked overnight in the spacious parking lot. Kids came to party until about 11:00. They made quite a bit of noise, but then it was quiet. Nobody bothered us. Guilford is a little picturesque town. Restaurant nearby.
Report Check-InAs described: it is beautiful and quiet once the local kids are finished partying. ;) I stopped short on a windy and rainy day trip. There’s a sign that says there’s a four hour limit on parking, but I called dispatch to ask if it was okay to stay the night, and they said it was no problem at all. Another officer came by to monitor the kids but parked kind of close to me. For assurance, I went over and talked to him, and he also said it’s not a problem at all (super nice officer).
Again, technically there’s a four hour limit, but if your rig is self contained, it shouldn’t be a problem (at least in December).
Guilford is also a charming little town. Go support local businesses if you do stay! :)
Report Check-InCame on a night when the kids were out being kids (loud, roudy, doing burnouts and doughnuts worryingly close to our van). They scared all the other people who were sitting in their idling cars off then left at 11p and it was quiet after that. Ran into the marina worker in the morning who was very friendly. Not many other options close by so try your luck.
Report Check-InStayed here last night, a Saturday. A good option, no signs about overnight parking. As others have said, people hangout here in the evenings. Last night things shut down at 12:30am. Probably earlier Sunday thru Thursday. Also, people with fishing boats on trailers start showing up at boat launch at 5:30ish. Porto Potty on site.
Report Check-InRight by the water and close to downtown guilford. Really cute area! Sunrise and sunset is pretty. The dockmaster doesnt seem to mind if you stay in the middle section, non boat permit parking.
We happened to catch a belated 4th of july fireworks! But unfortunately the other reviews are right… teenagers come to party here and are quite loud until 2:30am.
Would not recommend unless you are a late sleeper or a deep sleeper.
Report Check-InStayed one night with no issues. There are trash cans and recycling, a porta shitter, great views of Long Island Sound, level parking. Don’t park where the boat trailers are supposed to go. 4/5 stars because there are a lot of people that park there and sit in their cars.
Report Check-Ina parking lot near the marina. there are young people who meet here in the evening. But the night is quiet. There are a beautiful view.
Report Check-InGood for one night. Many places to park on even level. Nice sunrise!
Bon pour dormir une nuit. Beaucoup de stationnement au niveau. Lever de soleil magnifique.
Great place to stay for the night. Parking was for boat owners but on a Wednesday in mid October I found plenty of space for my 20ft rig. Definitely wake up for the sunset it was absolutely amazing. There are benches to sit and watch the sunrise and the water. There is also a set of picnic tables here as well. I am not sure if this is common throughout the year. I did see a porta potti but didn’t venture inside. People do come through in the night to party, but so didn’t pay attn to their arrival or departure times. The one thing I will add to the noise factor is the train comes through this area about 500ft away from the Marina.
Report Check-InLarge parking lot for the marina. Pretty dark at night which I liked and no issue parking here overnight and sleeping in my car.
Report Check-InSigns say 4 hour parking limit but I stayed overnight with no issue. Kids do come party here even on Monday nights until about 11 or so. After that it was very quiet. Make sure to wake up for the sunrise!
Also - there is a portapotty but there was no toilet paper and the seat was covered in urine. Wouldn’t say it’s usable.
Parking is mainly for boat owners but some is available for others. Dock master said the police don’t bother people who overnight here and that was true for me. Kids do come and party though, once they leave it’s quiet
