Description
A quiet little village as close to the El Mirador ruins as you can drive. From here they have five day treks into the site. We asked around and locals told us we could camp anywhere, and that it was a friendly neighbourhood. We popped our roof top tent just next to the airstrip that went straight through the village. We ate at a small restaurant nearby. Price: free
