Great place to stare at the ocean with an incredible view in a very large turn out on the 1 highway. There is a little bit of T-Mobile cell phone service about two bars in the right position and I was able to do some work here as well. Admittedly the turn out is on a little bit of a slant but for my van it actually is nice when I can have a slight incline when I’m sleeping. Nothing too bad but for some people it might be too much. You could also park sideways and avoid that but for the area with no cell phone service and often blocked views this was a gem.

Nice large pullout with plenty of space for many rigs. We were the only ones. Got here at 10pm and left around 10am. Nobody bothered us nor did anybody pull in that we know of. We sleep with a sound machine in our van so can’t hear the highway noise, but I know it’s there. Super pretty views from about 500 feet up!
If you pull up and put your wheel on the metal grate, it helps level you out a bit. I posted a photo of our gray Sprinter with the front wheel on the grate
Report Check-InStayed here for a night in my rooftent, nice big turnout, good view in the morning. pretty windy but not unbearable, I would stay again, got pretty busy in the morning with cars driving by.

Great view
Big turn out. We were alone but there was plenty of room for other rigs. There is a lot of construction equipment on the turn outs south of here but this one was empty. Definitely not level but not terrible for a night.
Report Check-InThere is construction on turnouts south of here, but this is open, and no signs. Not a bad slope. Very large turnout, RVs and trailers would be fine. Stunning view and ocean sounds help drown out cars passing by.
