This is not Forrest Service land. We were asked to leave- presumedly by a property owner or local government person. He said he often has to ask people to leave and that this is all private property. I confirmed on the Forrest Service website that that County Road 443 does not run through Forrest Service, BLM, nor any public land for that matter.
Report Check-InI do not believe this location is Forrest Service land. I couldn’t verify on the FS website that this is public land. We were kindly asked to leave by a property owner or worker.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot!! And crazy easy to get to. If you go a little further up the road than the check in, there’s a bigger pull off with amazing views! Verizon service pretty good! Ranged between 2-3 bars but I work from my phone and was able to navigate well. Streaming a little slow. Was pretty rainy when I was here but when it was sunny and dry out at points, fliesssss.

Report Check-InGorgeous views and zero issues parking my canned ham. It’s very windy but really pretty and easy to get to.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot to stay. It was a bit windy, but we didn't really have any problems with it. Our AT&T was spotty but our Verizon was good, getting about 30mbps down and 4mbps up. We ended up staying a little down the road from the point on ioverlander, but there are several pull offs that all seem good.
Report Check-InTMobile Service is fairly Solid. ATT is spotty but is mainly available. 2 of the sites further down the road are exposed to wind. this spot is a bit more protected.
Report Check-InDrove through here but didn't end up staying for the night. There are indeed several pull-offs, but they're not very level and are basically just wider parts of the road. Beautiful views though. Weak to nonexistent T Mobile service.
Report Check-InSeveral wide spots off of County Road 443. Well graded gravel road in forest service land off of Highway 160. Views across canyon, but most of the forest is burned.No amenities but free and service on Verizon.
