After trying to get through the riverbed with my high clearance 2WD Vanagon and getting stuck soo close from the gulsh, I maxxtraxxed my way out of the riverbed and turned around to look for a plan B. Found this flat area right before the riverbed (when you come in) that has a few fire pits. Still great views, surrounded with those walls and green vegetation. Secluded and felt safe (it's past the gate mentioned in all the spots around here). 2-3 bars of 4G on Telcel.

nice spot a little tucked away from the road. we made it easily in our big transit. the guy at the gate didn't ask for any money from us. we walked to the climbing and hiking areas from here. some cell signal, strong starlink. quiet night. Sunday morning brought some hikers and bikers. cool spot nestled in the mountains.
Report Check-InAbsolutely lovely spot. The road is pretty loud/dusty/narrow but we managed fine in a 2006 Sprinter (no 4x4). This place is gorgeous!
