Rest stop on the edge of Kentucky. Bathrooms, vending machines, and decent amount of mostly flat parking for campers and RVs. No wifi, but 3 bars of Verizon.

We were looking for an easy place to stay for the night in a truck camper. Other reviews say there is 2 hour parking limit here, that is referring to the Tennessee rest stop / welcome centre just a minute down the highway on the other side of the border. THIS rest stop (KENTUCKY welcome centre) is free overnight parking, very clean large bathrooms, vending machines, water bottle fill station, right beside the highway but traffic noise didn’t keep us up. Very reasonable place to sleep for the night, especially since the transport trucks are on the other side of the building so the engines running aren’t audible like they are at other rest stops.
Report Check-InWe tried stopping for the night but it was full of trucks. No open spots at all. Go to the next exit, exit #2, and stay at the Flying J truck stop
Report Check-InParked amongs trucks; very noisy as all trucks keep engine running all night. Nice amenities.
