Parking spot fits about two vehicles it has posts to prevent large trailers. Beyond posts is a gravel pad and earthen/rock fire rings. Right on the river that has a few rapids so it has a great sound all night. Lots of tree coverage to give privacy in the leafy seasons. Other sites are far apart. Hiking trails and snorkeling holes near by. In the Cherokee National Forest. Careful which roads you travel as the roads can be challenging if you are pulling or in a non 4 wheel drive or low car. Composting toilets are about a half mile away and aren’t always open so you might want to bring a shovel

it's a nice river to camp by but most of the sites had rubbish and it was very popular. on a Sunday evening people were driving past till late searching for a spot. Unfortunately with the exception of a few spots a couple miles up Ladd Springs Road (which were also taken) there isn't that much else in the area.
