Latest Check-Ins

The road is newly made and easy to drive. There is no flat space for the van.

Pretty good view. Probably not a great idea to come up with a 2WD rig in winter or spring, but it'd be fine in the summer. Will require a decent size block to level your vehicle. I snagged a couple flat rocks from down the embankment.

This is a large pull off on Blodgett Canyon Rd. It's got cell service, awesome views of the town below, and great proximity to the trailhead at the end of the road. You will pass through a few miles of private land to get here, but this site IS on public land. While the pull off itself is only good for car camping, there is an elevated and flat area directly across the road. You can no longer drive up it, but you could definitely pitch a tent! It was just a one nighter for us, but it was a perfectly suitable and quiet spot.
