Some wild camping places north of Los Barriles, fire pits and some stones mark the spots. Beach is stoney but nice. quite hidden spots and some cell reception.

challenging Sandy narrow road to drive with only two-wheel. I came in with a 25-ft RV. beautiful location with a level pad and private access to a Rocky Beach.
Report Check-InBeautiful place fire pit in front of the ocean no wind for us, calm and peaceful 20 min driving from los barriles
Report Check-InWas very windy at this location next to beach, and best spots were already taken. So went up the arroyo on the opposite side of the road, about 300-400m in. Had very peaceful and wind free night. Arroyo sand is very soft in places so only recommend with 4WD (and aired down).
Report Check-InSince this is a beach spot, I'd only recommend it if you have 4WD. There's no problem with swimming or getting into the ocean here. It's rocky, but if you have some kind of water shoe it totally works.
Report Check-InI pulled off and down a little hill @500 M before this pull off and had an amazing night. There’s room for 2 or 3 vans, SUV, maybe campers. A fire pit. Super quiet. Rocky beach. May be the place that’s listed here! But…. Try this if you don’t find the coordinates for the other
Report Check-Inplace still available and pretty cool. very diverse flora and fauna but not ideal for water activities. covered, quite level and definitely 2wd.
Report Check-InVery nice place but be aware of the rattlesnake - one was direct under the car door
Report Check-InPast reviewers are correct - the beach is not ideal for swimming. However everything else about this spot is awesome! Secluded, hidden from the road, quiet, private. There are a few different “roads” towards the beach that access the camping spots. We found it best to walk through them all and pick a route first. Paths are narrow and there’s some soft sand. Great alternative to Playa Norte. Slow going/rough road with washboard to get here, but totally worth the drive from Los Barriles.
Report Check-Inreally bad place for camping or cars, you will need a 4x4 and high vlearance (got stuck twice) and the beach is nothing spectacular, thousands of flies and no swimming as there are way too many rocks!
Report Check-InThis spot is not really nice. Ok for one night, not more. Lot of big stones on the beach. There is space for 2 - 3 vehicles. Firerings are there.
Report Check-InHa ha ! This is THE spot to spend tge night if you just need a spot for free in Los Barrilos. Near the rocky beach. Far away from civilization. And there is a tree for hammock lover. Would recommend. Road is ok for RV and 2x4
Report Check-InNice few spots on a rocky beach as described below. Not great for swimming but we managed to take a few dips. We also saw another road about 30 feet north of this one where there was a larger, flat area to setup shop plus more shade and further off the road.
Report Check-In2 wild camping places north of Los barriles, fire pits and some stones mark the spots. Beach is stoney but nice
