$6 campground set in oak/pines. Requires drive up tight switchbacks through previous fire corridor but campground is rebuilt and shaded. Inside Mendocino Nat'l Forrest and rangers do stop by to verify self-payment fees paid. During the day there is off-road vehicle noise and lots of stop-bys to use the pit toilets. This is mostly winter; summer is quieter.
