Latest Check-Ins

They will not allow overnight parking (or even long-term daytime parking) for the solar eclipse. We were told to move on.

Report Check-In

Here in area a couple days early for 2024 solar eclipse; the reviews made this sound like easy overnight, but got "the knock" at 1:00am by Walmart security off-duty officer, saying no overnights allowed in their parking lot.

classic Walmart. stayed 5 nights while stuck in town with mechanical issues on my rig, skoolie, not stealthy at all. no one bothered me at all, even when police were called to the store to help a homeless woman who’d been injured. 2/4 of the women’s bathrooms were out of order which sucked, but otherwise the store was clean and normal. right on a major road and some big trucks idling so definitely noisy. and superrrrrrr friendly town so if you’re a hermit like me who doesn’t like to be approached by strangers, I wouldnt stay here too long lol. but overall everyone I met in this town was very nice and helpful. except the actual mechanics lol.

called ahead. lady said the welcome overnight rvers as long as they don't block firelanes or parking lot exits/entrances. stayed with night with 3 other 5er friends. very quiet after store closed. ate dinner at chili's and had great service from Duscount Tire next door. shopped at Walmart. great stay. ❤️

Report Check-In

One of the rowdiest Walmart lots I've been in. Local meeting spot, lots of loud trucks and cars.
You definitely won't be asked to leave, though. Lots of RVs, vans, skoolies, big rigs, and car campers. Talked to a few people who had been staying there a week or more without any issue.

Quieter parking near the Wendy's along the edge of the lot.
