Very nice campsite, run by the local community. The sm8 sites are on the hill, which offers for all of them a nice sunset view. Sites are even, sandy. Better call or WhatsApp them in advance. Very close to the park gate to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi-Park. For game viewing is the south part (iMfolozi) much better as the bush is not as thick.

Report Check-In

Better message them in advance for booking because the camp is quite busy as its the only camping in the area. We arrived late without booking and we were lucky that some people decided to leave because the camp didnt have power at the moment (power outage for multiple days).
Bathrooms are simple but functioning. Spots are pretty private. For 180 pp it's a good place 5 minutes away from the park gate.

Lovely campsite overlooking the NP. We got a big stand with water and braai stand close to perfect ablutions. I'm not sure if they added more stands, but for sure not a problem for bigger rigs like us. We are grateful for such a lovely campsite just outside the park. R180pppn

Fitted us in on an overflow site on upper levels (for night 1) as was last minute booing for 3 nights. Ablutions super clean. Filled out water tank and treated - have now drunk for days and we are OK. Loved the sites - agree entry to some are tight (we are hilux with canopy) - this was OK. Saw lovely Chameleons. Super friendly staff - loved they engaged with kids over Easter. One staff member saw us in park and stopped to see how we’d gone. Overall lovely community campsite

Report Check-In

Great campsite on community land so staying here supports the locals. Good security and well kept. As mentioned, right next to the park entrance. Would definitely recommend.

What a cracker spot. Can’t recommend enough. Nunu the owner is a great guy. Full of enthusiasm and incredibly knowledgeable about the bush and the park. 7 sites, at the location. Our site was huge and plenty enough for our vehicle and trailer. Ablutions very clean with hot water. Wood and ice for sale. Power and water at each campsite. Location is great too, being able to get into the park in minutes. Lastly, it’s very well priced for what you get. In our view it’s actually cheap for where you are and being RIGHT next to the park.

Simple/compact but peaceful community run campsite right near the entry to iMfolozi-Hluluwe. Some of the (mostly shady) sites have a lovely view over the park. Ablutions were nice and clean

Nice and clean Campsite, very friendly welcome, it's like onlyme wrote!

Sorry Nunu, of course not Nana - I’m still with the book elephant whisperer

Report Check-In

This camp is slightly more expensive than others. But - it is situated directly at Nyalazi Gate, the owners Nunu and his wife are extremely nice and helpful, the place is wild and romantic, it is tidy, has a great fireplace, water taps and waste bins, the showers and toilets are new and spotlessly clean. Nana took us for a night walk for free. We liked it here very much.

Report Check-In

Quiet narrow for real big rigs to get to the lower pitches.
No cellphone reception at all at the campsite, when we've been in. Owners told us Vodacom may work but not Cell C and MTN.
Still with 180,- pppn overpriced, but we needed to stay with friends.

Report Check-In

As mentioned before, very nice and big spots overlooking the game park, owner very helpful. Showed us chameleons at night in the bushes.
Rustic but ablutions are great and power at every site, only little shade.

Report Check-In

Friendly established camp site.
Ask Nunu and his young’un about the Chameleon night walk.
Clean ablutions with hot water.
Well worth the R180 a night ppn.

Report Check-In

Very convenient campsite overlooking the park. We saw giraffes, antelopes nearby.
The lower stands are big, flattened with sand, rustic fire place, water tap, electricity.

The ablutions are new, clean, hot water, outside with
dishwashing area and soap.
Much nicer than Bushbaby Lodge!
Nice little garden around the ablutions.

We enjoyed a second night and one more day in the iMfolozi Park - a really good African experience with Rhinos, elephants, buffalo, antelopes.... (you can use your WILD CARD).

Still 180 R ppn

4G reception
Very friendly owner, committed and helpful.

Weather was rainy and the track to the Camp very slippery only in tough 4x4 doable. Campspot are unevenly, help you with some stones. We was the only Camp here. Toilets are new and clean. No further infrastructure on the Camp. Running water nearby. For the price (R 180 ppn) too rustic but near the gate of the Game Park.

Nice littel campground right next to the park entrence

Report Check-In

Rustic campground with new ablutions just outside Nyalazi Gate between Hluhluwe and Imfolozi National Park. Access is ca 1 km on a rugged dirt road. There are 2 sites suitable for big rigs but the track to the upper sites is very narrow. 180 ZAR p.P. what is a too expensive especially compared with the nice campsites near Hluhluwe, e.g. Bushbaby Lodge (120 ZAR p.P.).
