Description

3 very nice farm camping 400 m from the ocean with a beautiful beach with paraffin-heated shower and flush toilets. Absolutely quiet and a very natural setting. You can walk down to the beach from the campsite. But shrubs and trees are blocking your ocean view.

Nice private campsites in the bush on a 500 cows farm. Only noise is ocean. Tables, benches, braai, water tap on each site. 200pppn. Easy walk down to the coastal dunes and ocean.

Definitely NOT for trucks! The four small campsites are in the bush.
They look rather like a bush camp.
Hard to understand all the good comments before.
The owner wants still ZAR 180pp....what for?
We left.

One of our top three campsites in South Africa, we’ll maintained and very clean. Stunning views, beach walks and epic sunsets. Campsite 4 has great sweeping sea views with open fireplace, own ablutions and water

very cool place. Only the large sites but more space on the meadow. The access road is 15km gravel but ok for 4x2. The entrances to the sites are small and steep. Was OK for our Sprinter van. Bigger rigs better with 4x4. Zero cellphone connection, You can ask Dave the owner for his wifi password, that works at the fence of his property some hundred meters away from the sites. We paid 280 ZAR for one night for two persons and couldn't negotiate the price. The neighbors place at "Woodys" (2 km away and difficult Beach access) is also nice and friendly and 150 ZAR only.

Bush camp in trees immediately adjacent to the coastal dune fields that form a part of the Addo National Park. 3 sites on the farm run by friendly Dave & Lynne Cordner. The showers are heated by "roaring pipe" paraffin heaters much like the ones found in parts of Namibia and can be temperamental! One will usually have the whole beach to oneself but when we were there it was very windy and not pleasant having sand hurled at us. There are 220V power points at each of the three sites tucked under the trees. There is wifi only at the Cordner's farmhouse a short walk away. Turn off the R72 road about 800m west of Alexandria at S33 39.255 E26 24.070 to get to the farm, not at the eastern end of Alexandria onto Karel Landman St. This is a rougher route via Boknes and will take longer. In calm weather this is a stunning spot on thee coast.
