Description

MODERATOR NOTE: FLAGGED FOR DELETION WRONG LOCATION
This is at the end of a dirt road that is easily accessible using any vehicle. This is the parking lot of the cabanas, and everyone (including locals and cabana workers) said that we can sleep in the parking lot for free. Fire rings in parking lot. Really clean. Toilets are out houses about 100 ft beyond the cabana (ask anyone there). Comedor just in front of cabana, with your typical eats (real nixtamal tortillas). We paid for the ecotourism entry fee. You don’t need a guide to check out the waterfall or hikes. Don’t need to pay for camping. The hike is easy, beautiful, and starts beyond the cabana/toilets/large open grass area. Also good rock climbing, with pristine routes, mostly single pitch. Kinda sketchy ecotourism scheme because we spoke with locals who said that the money doesn’t funnel back into the town... I assume it goes into maintenance. You could also stay with a local if you befriend some. Also trees/produce is everywhere, and locals offered to give it to us for free (we still paid). We slept in our rofftop tent, it was quiet but there weren’t many tourists to begin with.

This place does not exist! Coordinates take you to a suburban neighborhood. What in the world?
