This spot is beyond the big group site when you first enter the area. We squeezed in here with our 27' TT. Ideally this spot is best suited for car, van, or small Class C unless you are really good at backing a TT. This spot is huge, plenty of solar, cell signal. Lots of boulders to climb on.

very bumpy road but able to pass slowly with low clearance 2wd. careful of the massive pot hole right as the road ends after the cattle bars, little warning to slow down. phone service. some highway noise but not bad
Report Check-InI stayed at a small spot shortly before these coordinates at the intersection of 2 dirt roads. More traffic on the roads that I anticipated & a lot of campers all along the roads. The dirt road in has a lot of intense potholes, but was fine with 2WD going slow. Pretty views. 2-3 bars of service on TMobile.
Report Check-InThis place is sweet. Some road noise from I-90, but the setting with all the huge rocks and lodgepole pines is excellent for being a few minutes off the interstate.
We did a bit of clean up because there was a lot of trash, but it only took 10 mins and it drastically changed our experience. Very worth it.
There’s tons of down wood that can be bucked and split for fires. No toilets, no water. A sweet place to sleep and play around on rocks.
Report Check-InLots of people at the pass so we drove about five miles in. It's a bit quieter and there's some climbing in the area. Trash and toilet paper everywhere. Anyone else tired of cleaning up after others? LNT!
Report Check-InAs soon as you pull in there is a huge open area....and of course everyone was piled on top of each other..... and once again I pulled over and checked my mapping and saw there was a largish clearing down a little dirt road....decided to give it a go. A little rough. Scraped my rear bumper over humps a couple times and cracked my trim beneath my door (again). Oh well. I like my Battle scars. Gives me some stories to tell! It was worth it. Little bit of effort and I'm all by myself in the woods. Little bit a trash laying around and some broken glass. Not bad though. I've seen much much worse. No services whatsoever. Free. 14 day stay max, but I'll probably only stay a couple. 3 PBS Channels come in over the antenna. VZW is great here. 24 mbps down/9 up. ATT voice service only. Tried several times to connect....nada.
Report Check-Invery nice quiet blm road with tons of spots and privacy. 1 bar att service, there were lots of people camped down here. PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAN, be bear aware and no fires.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Lots of space along the road. Busier than expected on a Thursday night

We would stay here again, cell reception was great, stores all within 15 minutes. only .05 mile off highway. stayed here on way out from yellowstone
camped one night in the big group area and then ventured down the road to see if more spots were available. there was one and we put a couple chairs out to save it. about an hour later the chairs were gone from the spot when we pulled in. and a ton of garbage all around. so far Montana is pretty dirty. pick up after yourselves people. and maybe grab an extra bag of trash on the way out.
this place is disappointing
