Something not right?

Description

About 5 dispersed camping spots all marked. The road to the first few is a little bumpy but I did it in my van. The others were too rough for my van but a 4WD could do it or you can just park at the first ones and pitch your tent at the ones further up the road. Next to a creek. Super lovely. Next to the road, so definitely noise but not too bad.

This place was a bit easy to miss from the road, and I ended up having to backtrack. I got there about 5 pm, and the first spot already had someone there. I was nervous about going up to the higher spots because I had like 0 offroading experience, but I ended up getting to the top spot with very little difficulty in my nissan rogue. Slept peacefully and had no one else around me. When I came back down the next morning at around 5 am, I noticed a total of 3 different car campers were all crammed into the spot at the bottom and no one else tried to come up the hill. Glad I went for it despite my nerves. I was a bit surprised so many people were there, even on a random Wednesday in May. Seems to be a very popular camping spot with the limited availability in the area and the proximity to the AMR parking area a couple minutes down the road. Definitely some road noise all throughout the night since it is right next to the road, but it wasn't bad. Absolutely no T-Mobile service.

popular spot -- was packed on a leaf peeping Saturday.

About 3 secluded campsites accessible by an unmarked road just a minute north on the 73 from the Chapel Pond road stop. There has been some erosion in the area so the roads leading to the upper sites have a lot of exposed big rocks jutting out, would only recommend high clearance vehicles passing through. The lower campsite was a large clearing with a firepit and good even ground to camp on. There is a nice clear stream nearby, as well as a small outhouse up on the hill. Some noise from the road but not terrible.
There was a sign noting high bear activity so be sure to keep all your food in the car!

Only about 2 spots you can access with a 2WD low clearance vehicle. spots open up during the day, but there are almost always people parked on top of each other at night. We stayed 4 days and had an overall good experience. This is a great spot considering it's proximity to hikes and that there is limited camping in the area.
