Description
Dry camping location on parking lot next to the bay. Showers were closed but bathrooms are OK. Some spots have tables and fire rings. When it's quiet, it's nice. But when it's crowded, generators from RVs disrupt the otherwise quiet peaceful site.

It’s now $30 a night. On the cusp of being overpriced. Two shower stalls but one was out of order. Not clear whether showers are free or takes quarters. Host on site which is always good. Picnic tables, water and fire rings on some sites.

Report Check-InQuaint. Random large boats beeping some nights. Coast guard helicopters circling for hours some days. Somehow, peaceful otherwise. Fire pits and tables at some spots. Showers are broken. Not worth $25 a night + $2 per dog in my opinion. If it was $10 or so I'd say heck yeah why not. Lots of beaches to explore nearby, including the Grove across the bay. Seals, birds of all kinds, even saw a whale snort.
Report Check-InNot really my kind of place, but OK for one night. Does have nice water views. Bathrooms OK, but showers closed at this time. Nice little beach & recreation area close by. Not many people here, but seems to have a few permanents, despite 7 day limit. More beach areas down the road, but no camping.

According to the ranger the showers are open only when the place is busy - so, high season. Closed now.

Report Check-InSo, it's not exactly nice. Definitely noisy with generators. But there were plenty of open spaces on a Friday afternoon in August. The upside is the cool weather, even in the summer, and strong 5G connection on both Verizon and Google Fi.
