Description

Multiple campsites off American Fork Canyon Rd. above Tibble Fork Reservoir. Some sites are accessible without 4wd/HC, but the road has some big potholes/puddles as you go higher. There was a lot of traffic on the road during the day and some dust, so sites that are further off the road are a little nicer. All have access to the cold, swift American Fork River. 14 day stay limit. Please LEAVE NO TRACE and keep this area open to dispersed camping!!

Latest Check-Ins

We stayed 1 night on a Thursday, there was only 1 spot available and we took it. there was a lot of dust and bikes and buggy passing by every 5 minutes and it was really annoying to sleep. We came back on a Saturday around 3pm and it was absolutely full, about 3 cars per spot and lots of people, we left to look elsewhere.

Great spot! Unfortunately a lot of side by sides and motos and cars racing up and down but overall an incredible location.

This is a local secret. Awesome spots easily accessible and free for up to 14 days. You can definitely make it to the first three spots in any vehicle on the dirt road. I would be just a little cautious once you go past the spot on your left it is best with a high clearance vehicle after that.

Camped next to the creek. Took a dip to wash off in a little dammed up area. During the day a lot of four wheelers and trucks drove by. Slept well with the sound of water and rain.
