Good little spot. Only seen two people in 24 hours. Road not to difficult four wheel drive not necessary just some clearance. spot is somewhat level. Tons of rocks. only about 1/4-1/2 mile off of interstate 40 on the North side and can hear the cars and train. Pilot travel center is a few miles away for small things you might need. No WiFi but been using my cellular data to watch movies.. I'm staying here for Overland Expo 2023 for a couple weeks.
Report Check-InGreat disperse campground that is separated by about a half mile between campsites so you feel secluded. 1-3 bars 4G LTE for At&t
Report Check-InNO CAMPING SIGN POSTED!!!! Did not stay. we will try another spot
Report Check-Instayed here for a night. great spot local to Flagstaff. the legality seems a bit questionable because there are no camping signs at the entrance to the road. on the right side of the road there are no camping signs on every road, but not on the left
Report Check-InCamping is very limited near Flagstaff these days. This road (left side only) is still open. Lots of spots to choose from all along this road. Some big rig friendly. Some abandoned tents and RV’s-we tried to clean up what we could.
Report Check-InFree camping close to Flagstaff. Many dispersed sites along the west side of the road.
