There is a road in the back left that goes to the creek, but it is NOT level and ends with a 4 foot drop off.
Find a different spot. Let’s remove this one.
We did camp for the night in our van just outside the Private sign and had no issues except train and road noise in the daylight hours.
absolutely beautiful! no service (at&t) and you can hear the train opposite the creek. very light traffic on the road near by after 9. nicely hidden away from prying eyes. road to get in is just opposite of the devils camping sign.
Report Check-InGreat spot right on Bear Creek off HWY 2. I don't think 4WD would be necessary at all unless it had just rained and was muddy, otherwise any vehicle could make it slowly. The train does pass right by this creek as well above the creek on the other side, so yes you will hear the train but hey it's free and close to Glacier! You could fit a few vehicles down by the creek or there are 2 other pullouts on the road leading to the creek. There is no service on Verizon at this location.
